Collective tour, departing on Tuesday and Friday at 2 pm, from Fondamente Nove (Venice center, less than 10 minutes away from Piazza San Marco), lasting 4 hours.
From 2 to 57 persons.
Itinerary 1: Arsenale Basin, Isola delle Vignole, Isola di S.Erasmo, Isola del Lazzaretto Novo, Isola di S.Francesco del Deserto with 45 minutes stop to visit the monastery founded by San Francesco d'Assisis during the 14th Century. Burano with 45 minutes stop to visit the island and then return to Venice.
Tour does not use sail.
For tours with less than 4 people, it will be used a "sampierotta" a smaller ship.

Step aboard the Bragozzo - a boat that has sailed the merchant routes in the northern Adriatic sea for centuries and is part of the history of Venice - and explore some of the quieter islands of the Venetian lagoon. The perfect way to experience the spirit of this unique landscape!
Your boating tour begins with a look at the fascinating architecture and structure of the Arsenale, which was the largest industrial complex in Europe prior to the Industrial Revolution. During the 12th century Venetian boat builders could construct a warship here in as little as a day!
Your Bragozzo will then head out into the waters of the lagoon and towards the islands of Vignole and Sant\' Erasmo, both known for being the gardens of Venice. Here, the finest vegetables are grown in the unique climate of the lagoon. Sant\'Erasmo is particularly famous for its small violet artichokes.
From Sant’Erasmo your tour takes you to the Isola del Lazzaretto Nuovo, which became something of the Ellis Island of Venice at the end of the 15th century. Merchandise and people arriving by sea were inspected and were quarantined her. Today, this historically interesting island is not inhabited anymore, but boasts the largest public edifice in Venice (after the Arsenale) with the Terzon Grande, one of the buildings used for storage and inspection.
Saint Francis of Assisi came to the Venetian lagoon upon his return from the Holy Land. The monastery Saint Francis founded in the 14th century on the island named for it is still a working Franciscan monastery.
Your outing concludes with a visit of Burano, famous for the lace making as well as the vividly colored houses of the fishermen.
